Job-Ready for Construction Careers
Program Overview
The Constructing Apprentices program is a two-week pre-apprenticeship pathway that equips young people with the accredited training, life skills, and hands-on experience required to begin careers in Queensland’s construction and wet trades industries.
Through accredited WHS units, employability modules, and supervised work experience, participants gain both technical and personal capabilities that employers consistently identify as critical to apprenticeship retention and long-term employment.
